About Dialog Table

Updated on

Dialog Table is an independent guide to kitchen and dining tables. We help you pick a table that fits your room, seats the people you feed and holds up to daily meals.

We write for homeowners, renters and anyone setting up a kitchen or dining room, from a small round table for two to a long table for holiday dinners.

What we cover

Our guides cover everyday kitchen tables, farmhouse tables, drop leaf and folding tables, round and pedestal tables, extendable tables and table sets for four.

We also explain the numbers that decide fit: table length, width and height, seats per person and the space to leave for chairs. And we cover woods, finishes and the care that keeps a table looking good.

What we do

We read the product details, measurements and materials for every table we cover. We also look at what buyers often mention after living with one.

Then we turn it into plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. Our How we research page explains the steps.

What we don't do

We don't make or sell tables, and no brand pays us to rank its products.

Dialog Table is not affiliated with any furniture maker or store.

We don't claim to have tested every table ourselves. When we pick one, we tell you why, based on its size, build, features and buyer feedback.

How we earn money

Some links on this site go to stores like Amazon. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

That never changes which products we pick. Our affiliate disclosure has the details.
